A SUMMER LOWER SLAUGHTER FAMILY SHOOT
As an established Cotswold Family Photographer, I am very lucky to have an array of beautiful Cotswold villages to shoot in. Lower Slaughter, famous for being one of England’s most beautiful villages, is situated in the Cotswolds just 4 miles South West of the equally famous, Stow on the Wold. Apart from being great for a wander around, it’s also a sought after location for outdoor family shoots. The village can get busy, but if you are able to get there during a weekday, it is much quieter.
My Lower Slaughter Family shoot was just perfect. We had such beautiful weather, and really just went for an easy stroll along the river which made for such lovely photos. My family shoots are about having fun together, with minimal ‘posing’ for the camera. I rarely , if ever, ask people to look at the camera and smile, and in fact, I genuinely can’t remember when last I said those words. I encourage natural interactions and my families soon forget I’m even there, trailing after them with my camera.
