MOTHER AND SON PHOTO SHOOT….

What a joy it was to spend time with this special pair and gorgeous dog, Maggie : )  I have been photographing families for many years now, and the reason that families book me and continually come back to me year after year, is that my family shoots are super easy with no posing and tons of fun.

My family shoots are always ‘play based’ for kids, so children never have to worry about ‘smiling for the camera’ or feeling under any pressure at all.  I also encourage families to interact and I have some great ‘games’ that families play that translate very well into beautiful photographs with natural expressions. There is never a time in my shoots that you need to be aware of the camera or feel that you have to smile for it. In fact, you don’t even have to look at it!

I also absolutely love hearing about my client’s lives and what they love to do as a family together. I enjoy meeting people so much, and I’m always genuinely interested and fascinated as to what makes ‘families tick’ and getting to know my families that I photograph. This very special ‘mum and son’ shoot filled me joy and it was such a pleasure to spend time with this gorgeous little family.
