We had snow in Cirencester! Snow is a big deal to us having moved from very sunny South Africa to the UK. The forecast of snow was quite exciting and when it eventually started falling late on Tuesday night, it was really beautiful to watch the fine soft flakes falling through the darkness! The next morning was amazing to wake up to a fine blanket of snow on everything. I know it wasn’t much, but it was so pretty nonetheless and i just had to photograph it as much as i could. I must admit, i was a little worried about my camera getting ‘cold’ (no joke!) so i kinda hid it in my jacket and then popped it and took a few pictures and put it back again. It sounds silly, but I’ve seen horrible threads in many forums on cameras getting cold and the condensation getting inside and did not want to risk that. Anyway, back to the snow. It was beautiful and lifted my spirits a little after been very homesick for South Africa the last few weeks. I hope you love the photos of the gorgeous town of Cirencester in the snow.
