My photography has gone to the dogs…

So, it seems more and more of my clients bring their dogs along to shoots with me. I really love this. Some photographers have even mentioned to me, ‘oh, that’s your USP’ and I’m like, ‘what do you mean USP?’ and they are a like, ‘Unique Selling Point’. Uh, well, I don’t think having dogs on shoots is possibly my USP but I don’t mind that people think that it’s unique enough for it be considered as one. Really, your dogs are very much a part of your family so I’m happy to have them along.

Outdoor family photo shoot with the fur-babies

Okay, so I got a little sidetracked. This family was amazing to shoot. Such a lovely and vibrant energy and all 5 of them were a real joy.  We were a little worried about the weather, being Britain and all, and even though the day was a little dull we managed to find some good light and get some really great shots.  I particularly love the one shot of Edward facing his ‘family’. I wanted to recreate a great shot i had done with a family prior to this with the exact same breed of dog, but ‘Edward’  would not. look. at me! Aw, he was lovely though and we eventually got some great shots:)  The little baby was very attached to the two dogs, so we were able to ‘use’ them to our advantage and get some good giggles going from her whilst interacting and playing with them. All in all, this was another successful outdoor family photo shoot with a relaxed and natural feel. Its all about capturing connections as opposed to posed photographs. And we had fun too:)

If you are looking for an outdoor family photo shoot where you can bring your entire family along, including your ‘fur-babies’ then please do get in touch with me.
