The magic of Cirencester Park
Another beautiful shoot in Cirencester park. Cirencester park is an oasis of tree lined pathways, lush greenery, Cotswold stone walls , ancient Roman follies and paddocks with grazing horses in the middle of the absolutely beautiful Roman market town of Cirencester. I’m very fortunate to be a Cotswold family photographer and even though I do shoot a lot in this park, every shoot is different. The light changes from one week to the next and there is always something new to be discovered in this park. Children always react differently to having a shoot in this park, from racing scooters, climbing folly walls and twirling colourful skirts in the late afternoon light. It’s always a joy to shoot here and I’m always pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the shoots.
This shoot was happy and colourful and so easy. A gorgeous family with their two beautiful lively little girls. It was very evident how much dad loved them and they both doted on him. Mum is beautiful and I love how she matched her jumper colour to the girl’s skirts. This family has actually became my ‘poster family’ of how to dress for shoots and I’ve included some of these lovely images in my marketing material. Look at how awesome they all look? The little girls were happy and enjoyed twirling their very pretty colourful skirts. I love the one picture of them on the grass with the late afternoon light filtering through the trees.
