reportage christening photography

Another lovely christening photographed in the beautiful village of Stratton, Cirencester followed by a get together of all the friends at Graze Restaurant in Cirencester town centre.  I really really enjoy photographing Christenings. My favorite way to shoot events is more of a reportage (candid) style and photographing a Christening lends itself perfectly to this sort of photography. I enjoy capturing candid moments, especially when photographing children as you just never know what they are going to get up  to next. This little girl was so good and so sweet and loved turning around in her seat to smile and giggle at all the guests sitting behind her.

a very happy day

The day was bright and sunny and the church was set in beautiful grounds in the lovely village of Stratton. I enjoyed photographing all the guests arriving and it was apparent how special this little girl is to everyone, as well as her parents. After the ceremony was done, we took a handful of formal shots in the church grounds and then headed off to Graze Restaurant in Cirencester for a sumptuous lunch. Graze is really a very attractive restaurant and makes for a gorgeous setting with its sunny back garden and warm rustic wooden floorboards. This is what my clients had to say, Thank you Tanli for capturing everything we asked for. Over the moon with every single photo. You managed to get some great shots without even being noticed. Thank you once again and we will for sure use you again and recommend you to our friends and family.”

This was a lovely christening and I cant wait to shoot another one. I thoroughly enjoying being a part of this special occasion for a family and being able to provide photos that truly capture the emotion and ‘feel’ of the day. Please do get in touch if you require a christening photographer as I’d be delighted to photograph your Christening next.

I am a natural light family photographer based in the lovely Roman Market town of Cirencester, the gateway to the Cotswolds.
